The Heat-Makers by Brian Roberts & Frank Ferris

This is an edited version of the "cut-and-paste" draft proposal for a book to celebrate the Centenary of the founding in 1904 of the Heating & Ventilating Contractors' Association.   The published "HVCA @ 100" in 2004 turned out to be completely different. However, the Heat Makers draft included a 25-page "Directory of Early Heating Engineers" with much historical detail not available elsewhere and which future researchers may find of assistance.
