iconic photograph taken in Victorian times of Engineers in
discussion
against a backdrop of three lancashire boilers during
their erection for the International Exhibition London of 1862
Note the Victorian hard hats and
high-viz jackets
An erection gang posing for a photograph in 1889 in front of the
two G N Haden & Sons Lancashire steam boilers recently erected.
I believe it looks like asbestos insulation. The project site is
unknown.
