Spiral heating pipe coil in Chancel

Pipework set around base of column

Typical sinuous pipe coil in main Church area

Twin expansion pipes at the base of the tower.
1 inch bore pipework at floor level of the aisle.

The heating system is the high pressure type as designed by A M Perkins. All the pipework in the distribution system is
installed at floor level alongside the plinth of the Pews in the Aisles and on external walls where space permitted. One
special rectangular spiral heating pipe coil is fitted in the Chancel.  There are several low level sinuous pipe coils sited
around the external walls of the Church.

This Perkins heating installation is an excellent example of this type of system, and retains on display all of its original pipework including the double expansion pipes with its filling and air venting points.
